The following table sets forth the distribution of the Charter
and Ordinances, 1974, of the City of Buffalo to this Code, indicating
the present appropriate chapter number (and Article number, where
applicable), of the provisions from the prior compilation or the reason
for their exclusion. An asterisk(*) has been inserted for those chapters,
Articles and sections of the former Charter and Ordinances. 1974,
which were severability, effective date, repealer or reserved sections
in the prior compilation. (General severability, effective date and
repealer sections shall be included in Chapter 1, General Provisions,
